How Pulseware works
16 articles on building, sharing and reading surveys — plus what each plan costs and how to bring a form across from somewhere else. Short, specific, and written by the people who built it.
Getting started
Your first survey, from a blank page to a link you can share.
- Getting started with Pulseware Build your first survey, publish it and share the link. No account needed until you press publish. Takes about five minutes.
- How to create an online form Make an online form for free: write the questions, add logic, publish it and share the link. No account needed until you press publish.
Building surveys
Question types, logic, scoring and everything in the editor.
- Building a survey Every question type Pulseware offers, how pages and endings work, and the settings worth changing before you publish.
- Logic and scoring Show, hide and skip questions based on answers, add up a score, and pipe earlier answers into later questions. All on the free plan.
Results and integrations
Reading the answers and sending them somewhere else.
- Results and insights Answer summaries, the response table, CSV and Excel export, visit insights and the drop-off report that shows where people give up.
- Connecting your survey to other tools Send responses to Slack, Discord, Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets or any webhook, and reach thousands more apps through Zapier, Make and n8n.
Plans and billing
What each plan includes, what it costs and what fair use means.
- Plans and billing Free is US$0, Pro is US$21 a month and Business is US$66 a month. What each one adds, and how billing works.
- Pulseware Pro Pro is US$21 a month or US$217 a year. It removes the badge, adds partial responses, drop-off insights, respondent emails and custom CSS.
- Pulseware Business Business is US$66 a month or US$667 a year. It adds email verification, domain restrictions, data retention controls and priority support.
- What "unlimited" means: the fair use policy Unlimited responses, with published thresholds: 50,000 responses, 100 GB of uploads and 50,000 emails a month.
Privacy and data
Anonymous mode, what we store and how to get rid of it.
- Privacy and anonymous mode Anonymous mode stops Pulseware storing the IP hash, browser and device details of the people who answer. Free on every plan.
Moving from another tool
