Pulseware vs Jotform
Jotform's free plan counts your forms, your submissions, your stored submissions, your views, your fields and your storage. Pulseware counts none of them. Where Jotform is genuinely ahead — HIPAA on Gold, payments on the free plan — this page says so.

Pulseware vs Jotform
A fair comparison.
Jotform is a big, capable form builder whose free plan counts almost everything: forms, submissions, stored submissions, views, upload space and fields. Pulseware counts none of those. Where Jotform is ahead — payments on the free plan, HIPAA compliance on Gold — we say so.
| Feature | Pulseware | Jotform |
|---|---|---|
| Forms on the free plan | Unlimited | 5 active forms Jotform pricing |
| Submissions a month on the free plan This is usually the row that decides it. A survey sent to a mailing list passes 100 in an afternoon. | Unlimited, within fair use | 100 Jotform pricing |
| Total stored submissions on the free plan | No stated cap | 500 Jotform pricing |
| Form views a month on the free plan Views, not responses — a form that is seen and not filled in still counts against it. | Not counted | 10,000 Jotform pricing |
| Fields per form on the free plan | No stated cap | 100 Jotform pricing |
| Upload space on the free plan | 10 MB per file, no stated total | 100 MB total Jotform pricing |
| Take payments on the free plan Jotform wins this one. Pulseware payments are coming; they are not here yet. | ✕ No | 10 payment submissions a month Jotform pricing |
| HIPAA compliance If you handle US protected health information, Jotform is the right answer and we are not. | ✕ No | Gold plan and Enterprise Jotform pricing |
| Cheapest paid plan, billed monthly | US$21 (Pro) | US$39 (Bronze) Jotform pricing |
| Cheapest paid plan, billed yearly | US$217 (Pro) | US$408 (Bronze) Jotform pricing |
| Cheapest plan that removes the maker’s branding Same rule on both products: the free plan carries a badge. The difference is what removing it costs. | US$21 a month (Pro) | US$39 a month (Bronze) Jotform pricing |
| Signed documents on the free plan | Signature question, no stated cap | 10 a month Jotform pricing |
| Template library Not close. If starting from a ready-made form matters more than anything else on this page, Jotform wins on breadth by a wide margin. | A small, hand-written library | Over 20,000 templates Jotform templates |
| Integration catalogue Jotform’s own footer says 150+ while its integrations page says 200+; either way it is far more than ours. | Nine, plus Zapier, Make and n8n | Over 200 Jotform integrations |
| One question at a time Both do this, and both do it well. We list it so nobody switches expecting a difference that is not there. | A conversational-layout setting | Jotform Cards, free to use Jotform Cards FAQ |
When Pulseware is a better fit
- You expect more than 100 responses in a month, or want to keep more than 500 of them.
- You do not want a counter on form views, fields or storage.
- You want the branding gone for US$21 a month rather than US$39.
- You want the whole question set available without a field counter.
- You want drop-off insights and partial responses on a cheaper paid plan.
When Jotform may still be a better fit
- You need HIPAA compliance — Jotform offers it on Gold; Pulseware does not offer it at all.
- You need to take payments through the form today, including on the free plan.
- You already run a workflow on Jotform’s approvals, tables and apps.
- You need a form with hundreds of fields, where our editor is not the obvious choice.

How this page was created
Every Jotform fact on this page was read on Jotform's own published pages, and the comparison table links to the page it came from. Pulseware's side is generated from our plan definitions in code, so it cannot claim a feature the product does not have.
We reopen every competitor source at least monthly and republish whatever moved — including anything that moves in Jotform's favour. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
