What "unlimited" means: the fair use policy
We say unlimited and mean it, but "unlimited" with no numbers behind it is marketing. Here are the actual thresholds and what happens if you pass them.

The numbers
- 50,000 responses a month across your account.
- 100 GB of file uploads a month, and 500 GB stored in total.
- 50,000 notification emails a month.
These apply to every plan, free included.
What happens if you go over
Nothing sudden. A one-off spike — a campaign, a conference, a post that did better than expected — is exactly what the headroom is for. If you sit above a threshold for several months in a row, we email you and talk about a plan that fits. We do not silently stop collecting responses, and we do not hold your data hostage while the conversation happens.
Why publish numbers at all
Because "unlimited" without a number is unfalsifiable, and you cannot plan against it. These are the same thresholds Tally publishes, deliberately: we would rather be measured against a known bar than invent a friendlier-sounding one.
