Free form builder
A free form builder that does not cap your responses.
Build a contact, registration, enquiry, quote or order form in minutes. 22 question types, conditional logic, file uploads, and an address block that asks for a state and a postcode because it was built in Australia. Start before you make an account.
Free · No credit card · Unlimited responses, subject to fair use
What you are building
A real form, not a mock-up.
Pulseware is an online form builder, so the thing you make is a working web form rather than a document: your questions, your wording, your colours, a link you can share and a snippet you can embed. This is one of them, published.

Form types
Six forms most small businesses need.
Each one is already built as a template. Open it, change the words, publish it. There are 27 in total, and every one is a working form rather than a picture of one.
Browse every form template- contact form template
Name, email, a topic dropdown, the message and an optional attachment. Embed it on your contact page.
- registration form template
Contact details, the program, an emergency contact and consent boxes, with guardian questions for under-18s.
- enquiry form template
For a service business taking enquiries — what they need, when they need it and how to reach them.
- quote request form template
Scope, site, budget range and timing, so the quote you send back is close to right first time.
- job application form template
Work history, right-to-work questions and a CV upload, with the questions that do not apply hidden.
- food order form template
Items, quantities, pickup or delivery and a running total calculated as they choose.
Building a contact form or taking registrations? Those two have pages of their own: the contact form builder and the registration form builder.
Question types
22 question types, all on the free plan.
22 ways to ask and 8 layout blocks to break a long form into pages. The three that usually sit behind a paywall elsewhere — file upload, signature and a proper address block — are here for nothing.
- Contact details. Name, email, phone, link and a full address block.
- File uploads. Images, PDFs, audio and video. Free: 10 MB per file
- Signatures. Drawn with a finger, a pen or a mouse.
- Ratings and scales. Stars, NPS, sliders, matrix grids and ranking.
- Dates, times and numbers. Checked as people type, before they submit.
- Picture choice. Image options, with an “Other” answer when you want one.
The address block defaults to Australia and asks for a postcode, with the state, postcode and country parts each switchable. Phone numbers default to +61. Small things, but they are the difference between a form that feels local and one that asks an Australian for a ZIP code.
Logic and calculations
Ask only what this person needs to answer.
Conditional logic, calculations, hidden fields, piping and multiple endings are all free, and all set up in the editor rather than in a formula language.
How logic and scoring work- Show and hide. A question appears only when an earlier answer calls for it.
- Calculations. Add a total, a score or a price band as people answer.
- Hidden fields. Pass a campaign, a program or a customer id in through the link.
- Answer piping. Use an earlier answer in a later question or on the thank-you screen.
- Different endings. Send people to the right thank-you screen, or redirect them.
- Randomised order. Shuffle the options so the first one is not always first.
What costs what
Nearly all of it is free. Here is the part that is not.
These badges are generated from the same file the billing system reads, so this list cannot quietly disagree with your invoice.

What we do not do
Four things other form builders have and we do not.
Every one of these is genuinely useful, and if one of them is load-bearing for you then a different tool is the right answer today. We would rather tell you here than after you have rebuilt your form.
-
Payments Coming soon
There is no payment question type, so a form cannot charge a card, hold a deposit or issue a ticket.
-
Custom domains Coming soon
Forms are hosted on a pulseware.com.au link, not on a domain of your own.
-
Team collaboration Coming soon
An account is one person. There are no shared workspaces, folders or seats yet.
-
API access Coming soon
There is no public API for reading or managing forms and responses from your own code.
Two more worth naming: a form is written in one language, with no built-in translation or language switcher; and Pulseware will not turn an existing PDF form into an online one. If payments are the sticking point, put bank-transfer details or a link to your own payment page on the thank-you screen — you write that screen, so it can say whatever you need.
Not only forms
Surveys, NPS and pulse checks too.
The same editor, the same question types, a different job. If what you actually need is to ask a group of people what they think, start from one of these instead.
- anonymous survey maker
Collect honest answers without recording who gave them.
- NPS survey maker
The standard Net Promoter question, scored for you as answers arrive.
- employee pulse survey
A short, repeatable check-in that staff will actually finish.
